It’s here! Applications for our exclusive #GirlsClub management training program are NOW OPEN!
It’s such an exciting time for us behind the scenes. We love looking at the talented and ambitious women who apply every year. By the time we see an application, we know they are the women brave enough to have a conversation with their boss or advocate about their futures and take the initiative to get it done.
Thirty minutes ago we closed our 90-person zoom #GirlsClub Generation 2 Finale Celebration.
I’m incredibly proud of the work the women and men did this year in our 6-month virtual cohort, scan below for some incredible stats, standouts, and spotlights.
“I never asked!”
Margaret Arakawa, CMO at Outreach shared a phenomenal story at her company’s “Gals in Sales” event in Seattle. In her previous role at Microsoft, she was asked to interview candidates to be her new boss. But halfway through the process, she realized, “I can do this job.”
Meet Carrie Jeffrey, Account Development Manager at 360Insights. I had the honor of meeting Carrie last month at the Unleash conference in San Diego. She attended the #GirlsClub Women in Sales breakfast where I learned of her unconventional journey to sales leadership. I was inspired by her courage and confidence and excited when she agreed to share her story with our community. Enjoy!
Patti Baumgartner joined #GirlsClub as a Protege this year and we are thrilled to have her! She has immersed herself in the the program and has really stood out during our live training sessions. She is quick to share her experience and application of the skills being learned and multiple proteges have commented on how helpful she has been during and outside of the live trainings.
Meet Christin Myers, VP of Sales at Openworks. Christin has spent the last 7 years championing for women leaders in her organizations and most recently has joined #GirlsClub as a mentor. She epitomizes the #GirlsClub values through trailblazing new women in leadership programs, taking a risk in leading something she’d never done before, and believing in abundance by building the people around her up. She is a true champion of women and we’re excited for her to share why gender diversity matters she was able to create change through her involvement in #GirlsClub.
We are excited to share our first annual Sales Women to Watch. The idea for this list came after having conversation after conversation with amazing females sales professionals who were leading their teams, leading their companies, or leading women in their industry. These are women who embodied our values of being trail blazers, risk takers, people developers, and esteem builders and we wanted to shine the spotlight on them.
